Make-Up trends 2018

Yellow Blush

Yellow is a quite a pretentious color. You can’t just wear it, you have to pull it off, but this year, make-up has been all about yellow. As the make-up artist from Brooklyn Katie Jane Hudges sais, we should not be afraid of wearing bright colors on our cheeks, eyes and temples. To bring in some sparkle, Fenty Beauty has created a golden highlighter. It makes your skin color and face shapes pop.

Yellow smoky eye

In summer, you can use a matte yellow peachy shade for an every day natural look. This warm tone will accentuate your eye color and makes your everyday make-up very stylish, yet minimal.Β  You can spice up this look by adding gel to your eyes and making them shiny. This year, yellow is the new black!

Crystals was one of the most memorable trends on runways this year. Bare lids, glowy, dewy skin and little gems under or all around the eyes looked dreamy. If you thought crystals were only for the festivals, think again.

This season is all about experiments, especially with eyeliners. Instead of tracing a line along the models upper lash lines, we saw runway models walk with eyeliner on their bottom eyelids.Β Β They wore black eyeliner with a Cleopatra wing at the ends. It makes your overall look more edgy and who doesn’t want that extra “oomph”, right?
Don’t be afraid to try out different colors, summer 2018 is all about experimenting for fun!

High Shine Lip Gloss

If past year we wore lipsticks that were mostly on a matte side, now we see models rocking those high shine, reflecting lip glosses. Sun kissed skin and a little bit of shine on nude pink color will look gorgeous on you girlies.

Red liner and smoky eye

You may think, that red liner and smoky eye is a lot to handle, but if you master the magic of balancing edgy eye look with minimal face make-up you will be an ultimate hot fashionista.
