Perfect 24 Hours With Nina Japaridze
I love waking up early. That’s why I usually start my day at 8 am. While my son is asleep, I begin my mornings with a self-care routine.
Skincare has always been an integral part of my everyday life. My morning and nighttime skincare routine is very similar. I wash my face with Body Shop’s Daily Glow, then I apply Lierac’s moisturizing serum, and in the end, I finish off my routine with Body Shop’s vitamin E moisturizer.
Self-care is always followed by breakfast. I try to cook very healthy and filling dishes. Today I made some eggs with bell peppers for myself, and pancakes with maple syrup and apples for my son. I am not a big fan of coffee. I prefer to drink tea with milk.
Due to the current situation, we all have to stay home and somehow come up with various activities. After some time, I decided to start working out. My son and I turn on our favorite music and start exercising.
What I choose to listen to depends on my mood, but I can listen to Old school hip-hop and jazz every day.
I have a list of music that I listen to every day
We usually try to get some fresh air as often as possible, and for that, I leave the windows open for quite a long time. My favorite place for getting fresh air is the Turtle lake. I have a deep connection to that place as it is where my grandfather used to take me when I was a child.
Lunchtime is my favorite part of the day. I’ve always loved to cook and right now that’s all I’ve been doing. Usually, I make soup and some meat or fish and in the end, I finish off with fruits.
At this time, my son and I start doing our own things. My son mostly plays either with his toys, draws, or watches cartoons. I usually read books. currently, I started reading a new book that I enjoy very much – Sun, Moon, and Rye by Temur Babluani.
I’m pretty much enjoying meditating, reading, and listening to music. Meditation really helps me with stress and anxiety.
I also enjoy watching Munchies, which is a tv show that shows different restaurants in different cultures.
Staying at home helped me discover many self-care practices, and I decided to share one of them with you.
Faces cleansing at home: Steam your face for 7 to 10 minutes. After the pores open, apply the mixture of cornflour with yogurt on your face and leave it for 5 minutes. Massage your face in circular movements. After washing it off, use a silver ring to clean the T zone. Then, prepare a mask using cottage cheese, olive oil, honey, and lemon. Leave this mask on your face for 20 minutes. You will quickly see the result.
I also discovered a method of scalp peeling. You will need to mix brown sugar And a shampoo and apply the mixture on your head and massage it in a circular motion for 10 minutes.
I am entirely free after I lay my son to bed.
My evenings are complete with a glass of white wine and some tasty snacks. I sit comfortably on my couch and go through movies and tv shows. Today I watched Parasite, which left a massive impression on me. I highly recommend this movie.
